The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Windows-based systems. They will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our organization's infrastructure. The Windows Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows servers, ensuring high availability and performance.Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Windows-based servers and systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Intune, SCCM, and Group Policy.
• Experience in managing and administering Microsoft Security products (Defender)
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows server operating systems and applications.
• Treat infrastructure as code using Ansible and PowerShell.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management processes.--
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement security measures to safeguard systems against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in L3 production support and incident response for our team's globally deployed, 7x24 environments.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Windows system administration.Typical Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university is preferred.Relevant Experience
    • 4+ years related experience and/or training
    • Strong Windows Server administration skills.
    • A--focus on security and management at scale.
    • Solid scripting skills.
    • Disciplined version control, build, test and release skills.
    • The inclination to continuously learn and to evolve your technical skills.
    • The willingness to teach and to mentor.
    • Excellent communication and business engagement skills.
