  • Central Telemetry Monitoring Boise Hospital Flr 3 Unit: Tele Monitoring Tech
  • Patient Ratios: Have 1 tech that watches an average of 50 patients. Patients will be on multiple floors
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: at least 1 year of tele monitoring experience, prefer 2 years. Previous travel experience preferred but not required
  • Job Duties: Monitoring cardiac rhythms, Recognizing rhythms with potential to alter patients physiology- obtain ECG strip, and immediately report all arrhythmias to responsible provider, Maintains alarms to protocol and appropriately responds to alarms, saving appropriate alarms to chart, Give accurate shift report relating to patients condition and rhythm status
  • Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Report to their manager but a charge nurse is always available for support
  • Monitor Equipment: SpaceLabs will be transitioning to Philips- will train if no experience

      • Shifts & Scheduling: 7p-730a, will fill in where there is a need
      • Weekend Requirements: will work if there is a need based on staffing
      • Holiday Requirements: will be in holiday rotation
      • Floating Requirements: may potentially float Meridian or Boise Central Plaza- Virtual Care Center

        • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual
        • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? 1-2 shifts

          • Additional Notes: May be opportunity to pick up extra shifts; 7p-730a, weekends and holidays as needed with potential to float to Meridian or Boise Central Plaza Virtual Care Center
