• Certification Details
• ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS.
• RRT preferred but will accept CRT with at least 3-5 years of experience.

  • A hospital in Idaho is in need of a Respiratory Therapist to work a 13-week travel assignment.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have at least 2-3 years experience if RRT, 3-5 years experience if CRT.
    • Okay with first-time travelers.
    • If going to NICU need to know how to do NAVA (naturally adjusted ventilatory assist) on Cervo vents.
    • Must be able to manage all RT equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs.
    • Will not do EKGs.
    • Travelers will only assist with intubation.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 7-730.
      • Scheduler will make schedule, travelers will be filled in where there is a need.
      • Overtime may be available.
      • Every other weekend work is required.
      • Required to work if here during the holiday.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • # treatments per day: 36-42 per 12 hour shift or 12-14 every 4 hours.
        • Types of patients include Adults, Peds, NICU.
        • RTs for Pediatric floors will also cover adults, but RTs for Adult floors will not cover Peds.
        • Lead Therapist present on each shift.
        • Traveler will never be the only RT in-house; typically, there are 15-20 on days and 10-12 on nights.
        • RT Equipment includes Vents, Draeger, Servo U, V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm high flow, Optiflow, Philips Cough Assist, ResMed home CPAP, HillRom Vest machines, Hill-Rom Metaneb.
        • Typically 2-3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation.
          • Additional Details
          • This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.
          • Candidates' perm address required in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
