quality of care. The Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic is now
hiring for a team-oriented and adaptable Medical Assistant for our
clinic located on the Boise Regional Medical Center campus!Position
Summary & Highlights:
- As an MA at the Outpatient Behavioral Health clinic, you will
work with closely with a cohesive team in a fast-paced and
enjoyable environment.

management to therapy to intensive inpatient treatment.

- Outpatient behavioral health services specialize in a
comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and
interpersonal problems for adults, adolescents and children, and
includes: Individual and group therapy, Professional care from an
integrated treatment team including psychotherapeutic and
psychopharmacologic interventions, psychiatry, clinical social work
and nursing, and Pharmacological medication management.
- Conditions treated include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma
and abuse, behavioral disorders, psychotic disorders, personality
disorders, and developmental disorders (Autism, Speech
disorders)What You Will Do:
- You will work with a team of psychiatrists, psychologist, and
other clinical support staff.
- In addition to rooming, taking vital signs, and patient
intakes, you will prepare and administer occasional injections,
review medication histories, and coordinate the patient flow
between providers.
- You will also complete in-basket tasks, process orders,
complete prior authorizations, patient phone calls, and
referrals.
- An ideal candidate will be confident, able to work
independently and in a team environment and can be assertive when
needed and have strong knowledge of boundaries.
- You will also be open-minded, compassionate, and
non-judgmental. Work Schedule:
- 24 hours per week, 3 days/week, currently scheduled for
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 8:30am - 5:00pm, and Fridays, 7:30am -
3:00pm.
- The clinic closes at 3:00pm on Fridays.
- Hours are subject to change based on provider schedules and
clinic needs.Location:6348 W. Emerald St., Boise, Idaho 83704 (Near

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- *MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to
take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint
Alphonsus approved agencies:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
- American Medical Technologists (RMA)
- National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
- Completion of either 6 months MA experience or completion of
100-hour MA externship is required even with MA certification.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from
either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at
hire.
- *Obtaining the MA certification typically requires completing
an MA Program or working as a Medical Assistant for at least 1
