a Lead Sterile Processing Technician at our Nampa Medical Center,
off of I-84 and Garrity Road!Position Summary & Highlights:
- The Lead Sterile Processing (SP) Technician performs performs
all essential functions of a Sterile Processing Technician and
provides training and education to staff and carries out special
assignments essential to department service delivery.

communities from -. What You Will Do:
- Assist the manager and supervisor with quality/continuous
improvement activities of the Sterile Processing department to meet
Quality Assurance and Joint Commission standards of practice.
- Instrumentation management for assigned specialties.
- Monitor and audit sterilization records, including recall
sheets, biological indicator logs and other Quality Assurance
records as assigned.
- Act as a liaison with surgery Equipment Materials and
Instrumentation Specialist (EMI) to troubleshoot and resolve issues
with instrumentation and sets.
- Perform area specific duties.
- Perform the preceptor role in training and orientating of
students and peers.
- Sign off on SPD Tech & Certified SPD Tech staff job knowledge
competencies.
- Assist manager and supervisor with the implementation of
process improvements.
- Oversee the daily functions of the SPD department in the
absence of the manager and/or supervisor.Work Schedule:
- Primarily Mondays - Fridays, day shift.Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Maintains CRCST or CSPDT certification.
- Two years' experience in Sterile Processing.
