We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.SummaryThe Agronomy Intern is part of the Plant Sciences research team and supports activities aimed toward improving agricultural crops. The work week would be a 5 day, 8 hour-per-day schedule typically Monday through Friday.Key Responsibilities

• Basic computer skills needed for data entry for statistical analysis.
• Assist with annual field projects (planting, data collection, harvest) under the supervision of the field manager.
• Assist with routine maintenance of agronomy supplies.
• Develop a personal project that will positively impact the agronomy team.
• Willingness to become certified and drive a forklift to move materials.
• Occasional overnight travel required.
